Jessenia is a Waco-native. She graduated from high school in 2015. She then graduated from McLennan Community College with her AA in 2016. She transferred to Baylor University and graduated in 2018 with a BA in Communication Studies. In 2021, Jessenia graduated from Baylor Law School with her Juris Doctor. 

Aside from her academic career, Jessenia enjoys spending time with her loved ones, personal fitness, and volunteering in multiple organizations.
